Welcome to Tech Tuesday. I’m Garrett Sauls, SEO and Online Marketing Specialist with Interworks.
Let’s face it: we’ve all nodded off during PowerPoint presentations. For years PowerPoint has been the boring standard, but that’s all about to change. It turns out there’s a better way to create presentations. It’s called Prezi.
Prezi is an online service that allows users to create, and share presentations, without leaving their browser. Presentations, or Prezis, are stored via Cloud storage, allowing users to access their Prezis on any computer connected to the internet.
What really makes Prezi a game-changer is the ability to create interactive presentations. Prezi sets the imagination free with its 3D presentation environment. Think of it like presenting in a video game world. Users have the ability to zoom and pan anywhere in their Prezi, adding content where they see fit. Users can also seamlessly incorporate images and Youtube videos.
With all these features, creating a slick Prezi sounds tough, but in reality it’s fairly easy. Prezi’s website is home to a helpful online community and several how to videos. You can even check out publicly shared Prezis for inspiration.
The best part about Prezi? It’s free to use. The catch is that all Prezis are shared publicly. For private Prezis, you can upgrade your membership for a low fee.
Do you want to turn heads in your next presentation with Prezi? You can share your thoughts on our wall at facebook.com/interworks and learn more at Prezi.com.
